Oklahoma City (49-36) 

OKC beat Memphis (STL) 11-10 in ten innings.

Aneury Rodriguez threw 4.1 innings, giving up 7 R on 10 H and 1 BB with 2 K. Sergio Perez got one out while allowing 4 BB and 1 R. Adalberto Flores threw 1.1 scoreless with 1 H. Hector Ambriz went 1 scoreless with 3 H. Xavier Cedeno pitched 2 innings and gave up 1 R on 3 H and 1 BB with 2 K. Mickey Storey took the final inning and allowed 1 R on 2 H and 2 BB with 2 K.

2B-Jimmy Paredes was 3x5 with 1 SB, 1 2B, 1 3B and 2 R. RF-Fernando Martinez was 1x5 with 1 BB, 1 SB, 1 HR, 2 R, and 2 RBI. 1B-Mike Hessman went 1x5 with 1 HR and 3 RBI. 3B-Brett Wallace was 3x3 with 2 BB, 2 R, and 1 RBI.

The Hooks mustered just four base runners as they lost 5-1 to Tulsa (COL).

Jarred Cosart battled blister problems while throwing 4.2 innings and giving up 4 R on 8 H with 5 K. Erick Abreu pitched 3.1 perfect innings with 5 K. Arcenio Leon took the final inning, allowing 1 R on 1 H with 2 K.

SS-Jonathan Villar was 1x4 with 1 RBI. C-Jair Fernandez was 1x3 with 1 2B and 1 R.

Lancaster (42-41) 

After rallying to tie the game in the ninth, Lancaster lost 7-6 in 11 innings to Modesto (COL).

Jorge De Leon went 6 innings, giving up 5 R on 4 H and 2 BB with 3 K. Brad Dydalewicz threw 2 innings and allowed 1 R on 1 H and 1 BB with 3 K. Kirk Clark took the loss in 2.1 innings, allowing 1 R on 1 H and 2 BB with 3 K.

Jonas Dufek threw 1 scoreless inning with 1 H and 1 K. Tommy Shirley pitched 4 innings, giving up 2 R (1 earned) on 1 H and 3 BB with 6 K. Mitchell Lambson threw 4 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 H with 7 K.

2B-Delino DeShields was 0x3 with 1 BB and 1 SB. 3B-Matt Duffy went 2x4 with 1 2B.

The ValleyCats won their eleventh straight by beating Lowell (BOS) 7-2 with a dramatic seven run ninth inning rally.

Juri Perez pitched 7 scoreless innings, allowing 5 H and 2 K with 6 K. Juan Minaya gave up 2 R on 2 H and 1 BB without getting an out. Jamaine Cotton threw 2 innings, giving up 2 BB.

2B-Austin Elkins was 1x4 with 2 SB and 1 R. CF-Andrew Aplin was 1x4 with 2 SB, 1 R, and 1 RBI. 3B-Ryan Dineen went 2x4 with 1 R and 2 RBI.

GCL Astros (7-6) 

The Astros used three pitchers to shutout the Marlins 4-0.

Edison Frias went 5 innings, giving up 2 H and 2 BB with 4 K. Alan Abreu took the next 3 innings with 2 H and 1 K. Erick Gonzalez finished out the game with 1 inning and 1 H.

CF-Brett Phillips was 1x2 with 3 BB, 1 SB, 2 R, and 1 RBI. 3B-Darwin Rivera went 3x5 with 1 RBI. 1B-Yonathan Mejia was 2x4 with 1 BB and 1 RBI. DH-Ydarqui Marte was 2x3.

The Astros were shutout 4-0 by the A’s.

Oklahoma City (46-57)

SWEEP. OKC allows two Memphis runs in the top of the 1st, but then scores the next eight runs of the game for an 8-2 win over Memphis. Sergio Perez allowed 5IP, 7H/2ER, 1K:0BB; Mickey Storey gave up two hits and a walk in 0.1IP, leaving the bases loaded for Doug Arguello, who got out of it, and ultimately just allowed 1H/0ER, 2K:1BB in 1.1IP. Ross Wolf threw 1.1 hitless IP, and Jeff Fulchino closed it out with two Ks in the 9th.

J.B. Shuck (3B, 3RBI, SB) and Collin DeLome (2RBI) had two hits each. Luis Durango and Brian Bogusevic (2B, RBI, 2SB) drew two walks each. Anderson Hernandez was 1x3 with an RBI, BB, and 2SB.

Corpus (39-61)

Corpus got a six-run 4th inning, and rode it out for a 9-3 win over Frisco. Dallas Keuchel threw 6IP, 7H/3ER, 1K:1BB; Arcenio Leon allowed 1H/0ER, 1K:1BB in 0.2IP; Xavier Cedeno returned for 1.1IP, allowing 1BB, and Henry Villar threw the final 1IP, giving up a hit.

Johnathan Villar was a double short of the cycle, going 3x5 with a triple and a homer and 3RBI. Coincidentally, those were your only extra-base hits. J.D. Martinez (RBI), Jimmy Van Ostrand (2RBI), and T.J. Steele (RBI) had two hits each.

Lancaster (38-63)

The JetHawks had a 4-3 lead going into the 8th, but gave up a run in each of the 8th and 9th innings for a 5-4 loss to Lake Elsinore. Our Boy Andrew Robinson threw 6IP, 6H/3ER, 5K:4BB; Wes Musick allowed an ER in 1.1IP with Kirk Clark giving up Musick's run, Shane Wolf gave up the go-ahead run, and Bobby Doran continued his easing back into pitching, facing the final two batters, and giving up a hit.

Adam Bailey was 2x5 with a homer, 2RBI, and Grant Hogue was 2x3 with a double, walk, and a stolen base. Jonathan Meyer was 1x3 with a double and two walks. Austin Wates also had a hit and two walks.

Lexington (46-55)

Savannah got three runs in the 6th inning to send them ahead of Lexington for good, 5-4. Mike Foltynewicz threw 5IP, 7H/4ER, 5K:0BB; Jason Chowning allowed all three runs in the 6th (two charged to Foltynewicz), getting the BS/L; Jorge De Leon struck out two of the three batters he faced.

Delino DeShields (2B), Mike Kvasnicka (2B, 3RBI), and Roberto Pena had two hits each. Ben Heath hit his 3rd homer of the season, and Tyler Burnett added a double. Telvin Nash and Emilio King struck out three times each.

Staten Island got the go-ahead run in the 8th for a 2-1 win over Tri-City. Juri Perez threw 6IP, 4H/1ER, 8K:0BB; Travis Smink allowed 2H/1ER (getting the loss), and Travis Blankenship gave up the hit that scored Smink's run, in 0.2IP.

Greeneville (12-22)

Johnson City scored all their runs in the first three innings, including a 6-run 3rd, for an 8-2 win over Greeneville. Luis Ordosgoitti allowed 7H/6R (5ER) in 2IP; Zach Dando allowed 3H/2ER, 4K:0BB in 4IP, and Paris Shewey gave up 2H in 2IP.

Low-scoring affair in Kissimmee as the GCL Astros fall to the GCL Marlins, 2-1. Tanner Bushue made another rehab start, allowing 4IP, 6H/1ER, 2K:0BB; Adrian Houser came in for long relief, allowing 2H/1ER, 4K:3BB, 2WP in 4.1IP, and Juan Mojica got the final two outs.

The Astros only got three hits: Kelvin Vizcaino (BB), Jose Fernandez, and Yonathan Mejia. Jean Carlos Batista drew a walk and got your lone RBI.

Eddie's Farm: June 23

Oklahoma City (32-43)

Crazy one in Albuquerque as the Isotopes took a 2-0 lead, then OKC tied it up, then Albuquerque had a 3-2 lead going into the top of the 8th, where OKC busted out for five runs in the top of the 8th and added one more in the top of the 9th for an 8-3 lead. Albuquerque scored three in the bottom of the 9th, but couldn't get enough, and OKC wins 8-6. Gustavo Chacin allowed 8H/3ER, 4K:2BB in 6IP; Ross Wolf struck out two of the three batters he faced; Jose Valdez allowed 3H/3ER, 4K:0BB in 1.1IP, and David Carpenter struck out one and walked one to close it out.

Brian Bogusevic (BB, 2RBI, SB) and Anderson Hernandez (2RBI) had three hits each; Robinson Cancel was 2x4 with a double and an RBI. Even Chacin got in on it, going 2x2 with a run scored.

Corpus (25-47)

This was never very close as San Antonio dominated Corpus 7-2. Jonnathan Aristil got the Ugly, allowing 7H/7ER, 4K:3BB in 2.1IP; Shane Wolf allowed 3H/0ER, 3K:2BB in 3.2IP; Brad Hennessey, Blake King, and Arcenio Leon combined for 3IP, 1H/0ER, 2K:0BB.

Jose Altuve had your only multi-hit game of the night, going 2x3 with a walk, and now hitting .381. Jimmy Paredes hit his 5th homer of the year - a pinch-hit 2-run shot - and Emerson Frostad, playing 1B, was 1x4 with a triple. Chris Wallace got his first start at Double-A, going 0x3 with a walk, RBI, and a strikeout.

Lancaster (28-42)

The JetHawks had a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the 1st, but Rancho Cucamonga scored the next six runs, winning 7-5. Our Boy Andrew Robinson went 2.2IP, 6H/5R (4ER), 0K:2BB, WP; Mike Ness gave up 5H/2ER, 5K:0BB in 4.1IP, and David Berner struck out two of the three batters he faced.

Lexington (35-36)

Ben Orloff's throwing error led to four unearned runs, and Greenville beat Lexington 8-2. Ruben Alaniz allowed 5H/5R (1ER), 6K:2BB in 5IP; Chia-Jen Lo made his season debut, allowing 1H/1ER, 2K:1BB in 1IP, and Juan Minaya allowed 4H/2ER, 3K:1BB in 3IP of relief.

The Legends only got four hits - one of those was Adam Bailey's 14th homer of the year, with Enrique Hernandez, Jhonny Medrano, and Tyler Burnett getting the other hits. Delino DeShields was 0x4 with 2K, and is hitting .194.

Tri-City (3-3)

Lowell got two runs in the top of the 8th to tie the game 2-2, but Tri-City responded with one in the bottom half for a 3-2 win. Juri Perez allowed 2H/0ER, 9K:1BB in 5IP; Travis Blankenship got 2K:1BB in 1.2IP; Brad James allowed 3H/2ER, 3K:1BB in 1.1IP - but got his first win since 2009; Ryan Cole got his first save, striking out two in a perfect IP.

Justin Gominsky was 2x4, Zach Johnson had a double, and Brandon Meredith was 1x2 with a walk and two stolen bases.

Greeneville (0-3)

Bristol extended Greeneville's winless streak with a 5-0 win over the Gastros. Luis Ordosgoitti allowed 5H/5R (1ER), 7K:1BB, WP, HBP in 5.2IP while Brad Propst gave up 4H/0ER, 2K:0BB in 2.1IP.

The Gastros only got two hits - Jose Vargas, and a double by Ronald Sanchez. Jorge Sosa and Alex Todd also drew walks.

Tough news for Greenwalt, who was dropped two levels and sent to Extended Spring Training. Greenwalt broke out in 2008 with Greeneville, throwing 77.2IP, allowing 80H/26ER, with 58K:16BB to get everyone all excited about his future, as well as teammate Jordan Lyles. He pitched reasonably well in Lexington in 2009, going 8-13, but with a 4.20 ERA/1.31 WHIP. But things started to fall apart in 2010, when he had a 1.71 WHIP in 136.2IP, with 90K:42BB in 136.2IP, and in nine starts for Corpus in 2011, he allowed 58H/40ER, with just 28K:12BB in 38.2IP for a 9.31 ERA/1.81 WHIP, and eight homers allowed.

Who is this Blake King? He's a 24 year old RHP from Tulsa (same high school as Dallas Keuchel), drafted in the 44th Round of the 2005 draft by the Cardinals. In six seasons with the Cardinals, he's 25-24 with a 4.14 ERA/1.48 WHIP, with 511K:324BB in 428.2IP, averaging 10.7 K/9.

In 2010, he lit up Double-A Springfield, throwing 68IP - all in relief - and allowing 40H/22ER, with 84K:48BB (yes, more walks than hits allowed). But things just haven't got his way in 2011, where between AA/AAA, he has allowed 16H/18ER, 19K:24BB in 14.1IP for a robust 2.79 WHIP, after which he was placed on waivers.

In a lot of instances such as these, we're making an exception for a player who is in the States for the first time, yet Perez didn't make it a speedbump. In his third season with the organization, Perez posted ERAs of 4.32 and 2.68 in the Venezuelan Summer League before jumping to Greeneville, where in many instances, he posted better numbers than before. His ERA rose slightly, as did his WHIP (from 1.09 to 1.20), but his K-rate jumped from 4.4 in 2008 to 10.5 in 2009. Coming off a season in which he threw 57IP in 2008, he threw just under six fewer innings in 2009.

Perez did give up seven homers, three more than he did in his first 90.1IP combined. Three of those HRs came while he was a reliever, three of them were to LHBs (and the other four to RHBs, obviously). In his eight starts - his last eight appearances of the season - Perez allowed 0 or 1 ER in five of them. He allowed 3ER in two starts, and left his last start with an elbow injury after 0.1IP. and I'm looking to see how severe the injury is.

Citizen Steve, what say you on Juri Perez?
Had great stuff, but left his last start with an elbow injury. He was listed on the rehab list for the instructional league.

Sitting here watching this World Series game 4. It still has potential to be a very very good series. A lot of moves have been made in the last couple of days for the organization, I can't wait to get to spring training and get to work. I hope everyone had a good Halloween, mine was a little wet but I had fun. Hope everyone has a great week. The Holidays are around the corner.

Today's question comes from Citizen Street:
Which Greeneville pitcher had the best "stuff" this season, and why?

I would have to say the guy on our team with the best stuff was Juri Perez. He had command of everything and worked at a good pace. He threw his off-speed well, not a lot of people can do that. He threw hard and painted on the corners. Along with good stuff, he used his head when he pitched, he was smart. That is the most important thing to do as a pitcher.

And a follow-up question from me, as a former History major:
Are you taking any history classes?
Yes I am. The majority of my class load are History classes. History of Rome, Caribbean History and Latin American History are the classes I am taking. They are tough classes but I need to get them done to finish the degree. I don't know if I mentioned it, but History is the only class I can pay attention to.

Astros on the App League Charts

Astros 1st Round pick Jiovanni Mier was named Baseball America's 2nd-ranked Appalachian League prospect, just behind the Braves' RHP Julio Teheren.

BA, on Mier's bat:
Mier has the quick hands and the coordination to hit for average, though his bat slowed noticeably as the summer wore on. He'll improve offensively as he learns to use the opposite field. With knowledge of the strike zone and few other threats in the Greeneville lineup, he took his walks when pitchers worked him carefully.

Though he projects as more of a gap-to-gap hitter, he did show home run juice to left and center field. He tied for the league lead with six triples, and once he fills out, he could deliver 10-15 homers per year.

On his glove:
Mier is a classic shortstop defender who shows great instincts and maturity on the field to go with above-average range and arm strength. His quick feet and impressive technique, combined with average speed, make him a rare high school shortstop who projects to stay at the position as a pro. A need for more consistency in turning double plays and in making strong throws on routine plays were the only critiques of Mier's defensive play, but they're not long-term concerns.

On his approach:
Mier models his game after Derek Jeter's, and his natural leadership skills and energy reminded observers of the Yankees captain. And despite his youth and first-year status, Mier served as a vocal leader for Greeneville.

Pitcher Juri Perez made the list, as well, at #10:

Greeneville manager Rodney Linares credited Perez with having the best changeup in the league. Thrown with deceptive arm speed, it bottoms out as it reaches the plate. Batters seldom put the changeup in play, driving up Perez's pitch counts.

With a fastball that ranges from 88-93 mph and sits at 91, Perez is more than a one-trick pony. With the savvy and poise to mix his primary weapons, he needs only to refine his below-average curveball, which he resists throwing at this stage, to profile as a mid-rotation starter.

And Jonathan Meyer ranked in at #18:

A high-energy player, Meyer has the strong hands, bat speed and the gap power to hit as he moves up, though he may never be a significant home run threat. He led the league with 36 walks, displaying uncanny patience for a high school player.

On defense, Meyer has the first-step quickness and range to profile as a plus defender at third base. He touched 92 mph off the mound in high school and also spent time at catcher, so he has more than enough arm for third. He's not much of a runner but has average speed underway.

Juri Perez: Arm injury

Earlier this morning we found out about Greeneville's Juri Perez leaving last night's game against Princeton. Let's turn it over to the Greeneville Sun's Wayne Phillips:

It sounds like a broken record, but the same problem that has tormented the Astros all season, pitching woes, continued to plague them Monday. This time, the starting pitcher, Juri Prez, never made it past the second batter of the game before he apparently suffered an arm injury and left the mound with the trainer on his way to the locker room. He struck out the first batter he faced, then on the first pitch to the second hitter he sustained the injury.

Tonight is the season finale for the Greeneville Astros.

Eddie's Farm: August 26

Round Rock
Game suspended because of rain in the 4th, and will be resumed with a 5-1 Round Rock lead this evening.

Corpus Christi
Corpus had a 5-4 lead going into the 9th, Midland tied it up, and Corpus got it back in the bottom of the 9th with a walk-off by Collin DeLome for a 6-5 win. Sutil, DeLome, and Locke had two hits each, and Jimmy Van Ostrand contributed a two-run bomb, while Jonathan Fixler hit a solo shot in the 3rd. Sergio Perpez threw 6.2IP, 6H/1ER (4 total). Evan Englebrook blew the save with the run in the top of the 9th, but got the win.

Lancaster
High Desert got two runs in the third, and that's all they needed in a 2-1 win over Lancaster. Koby Clemens had a double and a homer for two of the JetHawks' four hits. Shane Wolf threw a complete game, 8IP, 9H/2ER, 6K:0BB.

Lexington
With the game tied 3-3 in the seventh, Lexington broke it open with six runs, and then held on for a 9-7 win over Hickory. Eric Suttle and Russell Dixon were both 3x4 (Dixon: 3 doubles, 3RBI). Robert Bono threw 5IP, 4H/2ER (3 total), 0K:3BB. Brian Wabick got the win despite allowing 4H/3ER in 2.2IP, and Kyle Godfrey got his second save for the Legends.

Tri-City
The ValleyCats rode a 4-run 4th inning to a 6-3 win over Hudson Valley. Jake Goebbert and Sean Barksdale were both 2x3, Goebbert scoring two runs. Dallas Keuchel threw 5IP, 7H/2ER (3 total), 3K:2BB while the bullpen of Kirk Clark, Mike Modica, and Nathan Pettus threw 4IP, 4H/0ER, 3K:1BB.

Greeneville
Jiovanni Mier hit a 2-run walkoff in the 10th to give Greeneville a 5-3 win over Kingsport. Greeneville had leads of 1-0 and 3-1, but Kingsport tied it at 3-3 with two runs in the top of the 9th, allowing Mier to do his 1st Round thing. Nathan Metroka was 3x4 with two hits. Oscar Figueroa scored three runs, and Our Boy Aaron Bray was 1x4 with an RBI. Juri Perez threw 6IP, 4H/1ER, 6K:0BB. Travis Smink had the blown save with 1IP, 4H/2ER, and Abraham Gonzalez picked up the win - his first with the Gastros, and his ERA is currently 0.71.

Eddie's Farm: August 9

I'm trying to remember a day in which the minor-leaguers had a winning record for the day. That day was yesterday, as teams from Greeneville to Round Rock went 4-3.

Round Rock
Erick Abreu improved his age to 26, and his record to 2-0, as the Express beat Portland 6-4. Lou Santangelo was 2x4, and the other seven hits were scattered among seven other Expressists. Mark Saccomanno was 1x4 with 2RBI, Chris Johnson had a sac fly, and Tommy Manzella walked three times. Corpus Christi
Corpus scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th, but it wasn't enough as Midland won 3-2. Sutil and Florentino had two-hit games, with Sutil and Felix Molina getting the RBIs. Sergio Perez took the loss, throwing 6IP, 6H/3ER, 4K:0BB, mainly because all three Midland runs came on homers. C-Lo threw 2IP, 0H/0ER to lower his Double-A ERA to 3.00.

Lancaster
The JetHawks took a 4-3 lead into the 7th, but a run in the bottom of the 7th and five in the 8th gave Bakersfield a 9-6 win. The only JetHawk without a hit was Jon Gaston, who was 0x5 with 4Ks (ouch). Rosario, Weston, and Corrado had two hits each. Chris Salamida threw 6.1IP, 6H/4ER, 4K:2BB, while Francisco Abad took the loss with a 3ER, three-out performance. Jordan Powell also gave up 2ER in 0.2IP.

But it's good news from here on out!

Lexington
The Legends held off a late Asheville charge and won 7-6. Michael Diaz was 3x4 with a double and a triple, Brian Pellegrini and Steve Brown had two hits each - Brown had three RBI on a 2-run single and a solo homer. David Duncan threw 6IP, 8H/4ER, 5K:1BB.

Tri-City
Well, almost. Tri-City had a 2-0 lead in the sixth, but a 4-run inning will end that pretty quickly, and Williamsport emerged victorious 6-2. Barry Butera had two hits, Sean Barksdale hit a double, and J.D. Martinez hit his 4th homer of the season. Wander Alvino threw 6IP, 7H/4ER, and gave up 2HR in the loss.

Greeneville
Double-header for the Gastros...
Game 1: Jose Altuve was 3x4 with two doubles, Jiovanni Mier was 2x4, and Jonathan Meyer was 2x2 (each had an RBI). Juri Perez threw 5.2IP, 4H/1ER, 6K:3BB to improve to 3-0 and Travis Smink got his 5th save of the year in a 6-2 win.
Game 2: The Gastros took both games, this one with a 5-3 win, thanks mostly to Jonathan Meyer's first two professional homers, accounting for three of the Gastros' runs. Grant Hogue was 2x3 with a triple. Luis Cruz threw 4IP, 3H/2ER, 3K:2BB and Joan Belliard got the win with 3IP, 2H/0ER. The pitching staff induced four GIDPs, and got 13 groundball outs, compared to two flyball outs. Our boy Aaron Bray was not in the lineup in either game.

Round Rock
Nice shutout for the Express in a 4-0 win over Oklahoma City last night. Manzella, Yordany, and Maysonet had two hits each, with Brian Esposito providing two RBI. Erick Abreu threw 5.2IP, 7H/0ER, 5K:2BB while Gervacio and Paronto threw the last 3.1IP, and didn't give up a hit.

Corpus
Corpus enjoyed a 4-run first inning, and while San Antonio got two back in the bottom of the first, Corpus cruised to an 8-3 win. Patience was the virtue as all eight runs scored on only eight hits, but the Hooks drew ten walks. Or, a month's worth for the Astros. Drew Meyer had five RBI on a two-run single and a three-run homer. Sergio Perez threw 5IP, 6H/3ER, 4K:2BB; Danny Meszaros and Charlie Weatherby III thre the final 4IP.

Lancaster
The JetHawks jumped all over High Desert, and won 10-1. Every JetHawk had a hit. Clemens got a two-run single, while Matt Weston, Brandon Barnes (3RBI), and Ronald Ramirez had two hits each. Chris Salamida ran his record to 3-0 with 6IP, 7H/1ER, 5K:0BB.

Lexington
Exciting game in Lexington last night. Greenville took a 1-0 lead in the first, Lexington got it back in the 4th. Greenville took a 2-1 lead in the 6th, Lexington got it back in the 8th. Then went up 3-2 in the 9th, and gave it up in the bottom of the 9th and then lost in the bottom of the 10th 4-3. Albert Cartwright was 3x5, Brandon Wikoff was 2x5 (and is hitting .438 since coming up from Tri-City). Kyle Greenwalt threw 7IP, 6H/2ER, 5K:1BB. Godfrey and Villar threw 2.1, giving up 3H/2ER, with Villar getting the loss.

Tri-City
Mahoning Valley scored six of their seven runs after the 5th inning, defeating Tri-City 7-4. Nick Stanley was 4x4, Russell Dixon 3x5, and Jake Goebbert had two doubles on the night. Brandt Walker threw 5.2IP, 5H/3ER, 5K:3BB. Max Fearnow threw 0.2IP, 3H/3ER, 0K:1BB and Brendan Stines threw 2.2IP, 2H/1ER, 3K:1BB.

Greeneville
Greeneville pitcher Murillo Gouvea gave up a run in the 9th, and Bluefield defeated the Gastros 3-2. Frank Almonte was 2x4 with an RBI, and Bubby Williams had an RBI, as well. Juri Perez threw 5IP, 4H/1ER, 7K:0BB. B.J. Hyatt made a scoreless appearance in relief, and the aforementioned Gouvea gave up the 1ER in 3IP. Our boy Aaron Bray was 0x3 with a strikeout.
