The RedHawks were down 2-1 heading into the 7th inning, but erupted for four runs in the 7th and tacked on two more in the 9th for a 7-2 win over Sacramento. Brett Oberholtzer, recently named as the PCL Pitcher of the Week continually escaped trouble, allowing four hits and four walks and needing 91 pitches to get through 4.1IP, allowing just 2ER as Sacramento was 1x9 w/RISP. Alex Sogard (1.1IP, BB), Josh Zeid (1H, 1BB), Rhiner Cruz and Eric Berger (1BB) held the River Cats scoreless over the final 4.2IP.
RedHawks hitters tagged up Sonny Gray for 8H/4R (3ER), 5K:2BB. Andy Simunic was 3x5 with 3RBI, Jonathan Villar (2B, BB), Brett Wallace (2B, 2RBI), and Austin Wates had two hits each. Fernando Martinez and Che-Hsuan Lin had a hit and a walk each.

Corpus (23-17)
Despite taking an early 1-0 lead, San Antonio scored the next five runs and cruised to a 6-2 win over the Hooks. Ruben Alaniz allowed 4H/2ER, 5K:3BB in 4.2IP. Matt Heidenreich gave up a hit in 0.1IP, Josh Fields threw a perfect 6th inning, and Jorge De Leon allowed 2H/4ER, 2K:2BB in the final 3IP of the game.
Rene Garcia was 3x4 with a solo homer; Jio Mier was 2x4 with two doubles, and Erik Castro added an RBI. Domingo Santana was 0x4 with 3K.

Lancaster (23-17)
Tough one last night for the JetHawks as they overcame two two-run deficits, took a 5-4 lead into the 8th, and allowed two Visalia runs in the bottom of the 8th for a 6-5 loss. David Rollins allowed 6H/4ER, 5K:2BB in 3IP; Theron Geith gave up just one hit and struck out two in 2IP and Tyson Perez took the loss, allowing three hits, a walk, and two earned runs in the final 3IP.
Matt Duffy was 3x5 with 3RBI, while Joe Sclafani (2B, BB), Andrew Aplin (2BB, SB), and Tyler Heineman (RBI) had two hits each. Telvin Nash, who is showing more patience at the plate, was 0x3 but with two walks. Delino DeShields was 0x5 with 4Ks and the JetHawks as a team left 13 LOBsters.

Quad Cities (23-16)
All the scoring came in the 5th inning as Quad Cities beat Wisconsin 3-1. Colton Cain had a strong rebound start, his 5H/1ER, 2K:2BB in 4.1IP lowered his ERA to 7.12. Mike Hauschild got the win with 3.2IP, 4H/0ER, 3K:0BB and John Neely picked up his 7th save of the year, walking two but holding Wisconsin scoreless in the 9th.
Ariel Ovando was 2x4, while Carlos Correa and Miles Hamblin each had a hit and an RBI.

wildness until the 6th, when he loaded the bases with no one out. He ended up
with 3.1 IP and was charged with 3 R on 1 H with 4 BB, 2 HBP, and 1 K. Dayan
Diaz came in for Pettus and allowed all three inherited runners to score before
settling down for 3 IP with 4 H and 1 BB with 3 K. Scott Zuloaga pitched the

Despite only getting out-hit 15-11, OKC dropped last night's game to Albuquerque 8-2, with the Isotopes getting five runs in the final two innings. Sergio Perez threw 5.2IP, 8H/3ER, 4K:3BB to get the loss, while Ross Wolf only allowed a hit in 1.1IP. Patrick Urckfitz got the Welcome to Triple-A, allowing 4H/4ER, 0K:2BB in his OKC debut, while Danny Meszaros allowed 2H/1ER, 2K:1BB in 1IP.
Anderson Hernandez (RBI) and Robinson Cancel had two hits each. Koby Clemens was 0x2, but with 2BB, and pitcher Sergio Perez got himself a triple. Tommy Manzella was 1x4 with a walk.

Eddie's Farm: May 4
Oklahoma City (11-15)
Drew Locke hit a 2-out 10th-inning pinch-hit homer to give the RedHawks a 4-3 win over Nashville. Jordan Lyles threw 6IP, 5H/2ER, 9K:2BB, with 73 of his 109 pitches coming in for strikes. Gustavo Chacin allowed 1H/1R (0ER), 1K:1BB in 0.2IP. Ross Wolf threw 1.1IP, striking out two, and Sergio Escalona struck out three of the seven batters he faced in 2IP.
Collin DeLome was 4x5, giving him six hits in his past 9ABs. Koby Clemens (who got the start at 3B) was 2x5 with an RBI, and Anderson Hernandez had an RBI double. J.B. Shuck was 1x3 with 2BBs. But it was Locke who came through with the clutch, game-winning hit. OKC is on their first W3 streak of the season. Which means that Brandon Lyon will destroy it the next chance he gets.

Round Rock got all their runs in the bottom of the 9th for a 3-2 win over Oklahoma City. Brian Bogusevic led off the 9th with a single, Chris Shelton walked, Collin DeLome walked, German Duran got HBPed (scoring Bogusevic, 3-1), Edwin Maysonet singled (Kata, running for Duran, scored), and Esposito reached on a throwing error by first baseman Chris Davis, scoring DeLome. Brian Moehler threw 3IP, 1H/0ER, 1K:0BB, but left with a hurt groin, so Shane Loux came in for the next 6IP, allowing 3H/2R (1ER), 2K:1BB and the win. Shuck, Navarro, Locke, Bogusevic, and Maysonet provided all your hits. Interestingly enough, the top four in the lineup had a hit each, while all three RBI were provided by 6-7-8.

Okay, so that was a wild one. Round Rock took a 3-0 lead, Albuquerque brought it back to 5-3 at the end of the 2nd. At the end of the fifth, it was 10-6 Albuquerque and Round Rock tied it up in the middle of the 7th. Then Albuquerque got a 5-run 8th inning and Round Rock could only get two back, and lose 16-13. Amazingly, the Express only used three pitchers: Sergio Perez (5IP, 11H/10R - 7ER - 1K:2BB), Yorman Bazardo (2IP, 3H/1ER, 0K:1BB) and Roy Corcoran, who crapped the bed with 1IP, 6H/5ER. Obviously, the big story was the offense. Wladimir Sutil was 3x5 with a homer and 3RBI. Edwin Maysonet was 3x5 with a double, homer, and 3RBI. The big story was Albuquerque starter Charlie Haeger, who threw a complete game, striking out 12 Express batters, including John Gall's three Ks.

Lake Elsinore scored six runs in the top of the 9th to defeat Lancaster 9-5. Ronald Ramirez had three hits and 2RBI, while Koby Clemens was 2x4 with 2RBI. Jack Shuck and Marcos Cabral also had two hits on the night. Small-balling it, the Legends only got two hits, but drew four walks on the night, with Chris Jackson's RBI single scoring Jorge de Leon, who was running for Reinaldo Pestana (who reached on an error) providing the GWH. David Duncan pitched brilliantly again, scattering 7H/1ER over 7IP with 7Ks. Kyle Godfrey threw a scoreless 8th for the win.
G2: Not as fun. Lake County scored twice in the top of the 7th, Lexington got one back, but still lost 3-2. Andrew Simunic got two hits and Brian Pellegrini hit a solo homer while Jeff Hulett's RBI double in the 9th came up just short. Lexington
G1: Lexington gets a walk-off win over Lake County 2-1. Small-balling it, the Legends only got two hits, but drew four walks on the night, with Chris Jackson's RBI single scoring Jorge de Leon, who was running for Reinaldo Pestana (who reached on an error) providing the GWH. David Duncan pitched brilliantly again, scattering 7H/1ER over 7IP with 7Ks. Kyle Godfrey threw a scoreless 8th for the win.
G2: Not as fun. Lake County scored twice in the top of the 7th, Lexington got one back, but still lost 3-2. Andrew Simunic got two hits and Brian Pellegrini hit a solo homer while Jeff Hulett's RBI double in the 9th came up just short. Robert Bono threw 5.1IP, 7H/2ER, 2K:2BB, but two errors provided an unearned run - and a loss.
Tri-City
Well. Oneonta pounded out 13 runs on 19 hits (nine for extra bases) for a 13-2 win over Tri-City. Brandon Wikoff and Renzo Tello had two hits, with Tello providing both RBI. Brandt Walker: 4IP, 9H/6ER, 4K:1BB; Antonio Noguera: 3IP, 5H/3ER, 3K:0BB: Scott Migl: 2IP, 5H/3ER, 2K:4BB.
Greeneville
A win! Greeneville scored two in the 7th and one in the 8th for a 6-4 win over Bluefield. Jiovanni Mier, Ryan Humphrey, and Carlos Mojica had two hits each. Nathan Metroka got two RBI in the win. Gabriel Garcia threw 4.1IP, 7H/3ER (4 total), 4K:1BB, and Joan Belliard got the win with 3.2IP, 1H/0ER, 2K:1BB. Jeiler Castillo threw a scoreless 9th for the save.
GCL Astros
The GCL Astros recorded their 8th win of the season with an 8-7 win in 10 innings. Luis Bryan was 4x6 with 3RBI, Kody Hinze was 3x5, including a 2-run 10th inning shot, as the Gastros rapped out 16 hits. 2nd round pick Tanner Bushue threw 5IP, 3H/1ER, 6K:1BB in the ND. Mike Schurz got a blown save and a win with 1.2IP, 2H/2ER, 0K:2BB.

Round Rock
Jose Capellan dropped his record to 1-7 on the season, allowing 7ER in 4IP (with 3WPs and 4BBs), and the Express couldn't overcome the deficit. Tommy Manzella, Chris Johnson, and Jason Smith (!) all had multi-hit games.
Corpus Christi
Arkansas absolutely shut Corpus down, giving up just three hits in a 4-1 win. Mark Ori, Brian Esposito, and Mitch Einertson got the three hits - Esposito's homer accounting for the run. Douglas Arguello went 8.2 innings, and was pulled after an Arkansas 3-run HR.

The JetHawks made a valiant run at it, scoring four in the 7th and two in the 8th, but fell short in a 7-6 loss to Rancho Cucamonga. Jason Castro was 2x4 with two doubles and 2RBI. Eric Suttle provided a two-out, two-RBI single, as well.

Robert Bono threw 6IP of earned run-less baseball with 5K:1BB and lowered his ERA to 1.98 in a 3-1 win over Savannah. Michael Diaz, Andrew Simunic and Ronald Ramirez had two hits each.
