Eddie's Farm: July 23

Oklahoma City (44-57)

Down 2-0 going into the bottom of the 6th, OKC blew up for seven runs in the 6th and 7th, on their way to a 7-4 win over Memphis. Nelson Figueroa threw 6IP, 4H/2R (1ER), 5K:4BB; Doug Arguello threw 1IP, 2H/0ER; Casey Fien allowed two unearned runs, and Sam Gervacio closed it out with a perfect 9th inning.

Anderson Hernandez was 3x4, J.B. Shuck was 2x5 with an RBI, Brian Bogusevic was 2x4 with 2RBI, and Oswaldo Navarro was 1x1 with 3RBI.

Man of the Match: Nelson Figueroa

Corpus (38-60)

Corpus scored a run in the 2nd, two in the 3rd - but Frisco answered with double the runs each time - winning 9-5. Ross Seaton allowed 9H/7R (3ER), 2K:2BB in 5.1IP; Blake King threw a scoreless 1.2IP, and Jason Stoffel allowed his first two Hooks runs, with 3H/2ER in 1IP.

Jon Gaston was 2x4 with an RBI, while Jonathan Villar (SB) and Kody Hinze matched each other with a 1x2, 2BB, solo HR each.

Lancaster (38-61)

A three-run 6th inning propelled Lake Elsinore to a 4-3 win over Lancaster. Robby Donovan threw 6IP, 3H/4ER, 9K:3BB, getting the loss to fall to 2-12; Mike Ness threw the final 3IP, allowing 1H/0ER.

Adam Bailey and Erik Castro were 2x4 with an RBI, Castro's RBI coming on a solo homer. Miguel Arrendell was 1x4 with a walk, and David Flores was 1x2 with 2BB.

Lexington (46-53)

Crazy one in Savannah - Lexington was up 6-1, but Savannah scored the final six runs for a 7-6 win over the Legends. Carlos Quevedo gave up 7H/3ER, 2K:1BB in 5.1IP; David Martinez and Brian Streilein each threw 1.2IP, 3H/2ER.

Mike Kvasnicka was 3x5, Jay Austin (BB, RBI), Bryce Lane (HR) had two hits each. Telvin Nash was 1x2 with 3BB.

Tri-City (14-21)

Staten Island jumped out to an early 5-0 lead, and rode it out for a 6-1 win over the ValleyCats. Murilo Gouvea allowed 6H/5R (3ER), Adam Champion threw 2H/1ER, 0K:2BB, Ebert Rosario allowed two hits and a walk in 2.2IP; Joan Belliard got the final out.

Miles Hamblin and John Hinson each went 2x3 with a walk, Bubby Williams had your lone RBI - the ValleyCats struck out 11 times in the game.

Greeneville (12-20)

Brutal night for the pitching staff as Bristol jumped all over Greeneville, 11-4. Jamaine Cotton threw 2IP, 4H/1ER; Rodney Quintero allowed 4H/5ER, 2K:1BB, 2HBP, in 1.2IP; Brad Propst allowed just one hit, striking out five in 2.1IP; Mark Jones allowed 4H/5R (4ER), 2K:2BB, 2HR, HBP, WP in 3IP.

Jorge Sosa and Jose Vargas (2 2B, RBI) had two hits each; Jose Monzon was 1x3 with 2RBI and a walk.
