The Astros are discussing just who they're going to bring up on Wednesday, when the rosters expand to 40. We know two things from McTaggart's article: one will be a pitcher, and the other will be a catcher.
Mills:
"Another catcher would be huge, and being able to get a couple of arms, especially with the games we've been in the last week where they've really exhausted our bullpen, would be great."
Wade:
"I've already made up my mind it's going to be less than a handful of moves. We're getting guys back healthy with Lindstrom and Keppinger and still have a chance to get [Felipe] Paulino back. I'm just not a believer in using September as a reward or just stocking up the bench to have 27 moves to make. We have enough depth here."
Personally, and since you read Astros County you get our personal thoughts, I think trying to get Paulino back this season is a big mistake. Just let him heal and bring him back in 2011.
Keppinger and Lindstrom, who will come back at some point towards the beginning of September, will be heading to Corpus for rehab appearances.
Possible pitchers to come up would be Wesley Wright and Chris Sampson, who are already on the 40-man roster. Wright is currently on the 7-Day DL, but his injury wasn't supposed to be considered serious (though he hasn't pitched since August 13). Sampson has a 3.18 ERA (and a .349 BAA) in his last ten games.
For catchers, neither Brian Esposito or Edwin Bellorin are on the 40-man, but McTaggart astutely notes that the Astros could transfer Moehler to the 60-Day DL and free up a roster spot. There's a possibility that Jordan Lyles could come up, as well.
Newly-acquired Matt Downs is on the 40-man, but with the return of Keppinger, I don't see him coming up to Houston. And also personally, I would like to see September call-ups used as a reward. Brian Bogusevic would be a nice choice. He's on the 40-man roster, and he's hitting .283/.371/.425 in 127 games for Round Rock. Drew Locke has played well, too - collecting an .843 OPS in 125 games.

Iowa never trailed in this game, going up 1-0, 2-0, 4-0, 4-2, 5-2, 10-2. Iowa scored eight runs in innings 7-9. Shane Loux allowed 6IP, 8H/4ER, 5K:3BB, with one of those runs coming courtesy of Gary Majewski, who struck out the side. Casey Daigle, in his first appearance since returning to Round Rock (and since Mrs. Daigle retired), allowed 8H/6ER, 2K:2BB in 2IP. Welcome back. Edwin Bellorin was 3x3 with a walk (and still has an average below .200), and Edwin Maysonet was 2x4 with an RBI. Tommy Everidge had a hit and a walk.

Corpus showed an ability to respond throughout the 6-5 win over Frisco in the series opener. Henry Villar threw 6IP, going 10H/5R (4ER), 1K:1BB. Arcenio Leon threw 2IP, 2H/0ER, 1K:1BB, and Jeilen Peguero threw 1IP, 1H/0ER, 2K:0BB. Peguero's ERA is now 0.70. This was Villar's fourth start, and was his second straight 6IP performance. New Hook Kody Kirkland immediately contributed with a 3x4 night, with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Jon Gaston was 3x4 with a triple. Yet it was Michael Affronti who had the game-RBI lead with three, hitting a two-run homer. Jack Shuck also had two hits. Koby Clemens (0x5) and Jose Vallejo (0x4, 3K) were your only position players to go hitless. Vallejo is hitting .125.

Lancaster
Lancaster had a 4-2 lead, but a three-run 4th propelled Modesto to a 6-4 win. Robby Donovan, in his first start in Lancaster, allowed 6H/5ER, 3K:1BB, 2HR. Edwin Walker came in and allowed 1H/0ER in 3IP of relief, and Shane Wolf allowed 3H/1ER, 2K:0BB in 2IP to close it out. Lee Cruz was 2x3 with a walk, and Barry Butera was 2x4 with 2RBI. Jhon Florentino showed he can handle High-A pitching a little better than Double-A with a 2-run homer.

Lexington
Rome scored the last two runs of the game, which was just enough for a 6-5 win over Lexington. Luis Cruz allowed 7H/5ER, 6K:1BB in 6IP, yet it was Colton Piktin who took the loss with 2H/1R (0ER), 0K:1BB, 2WP in 1IP. Wander Alvino charged Pitkin with the unearned run. The Legends only got five hits, but drew a lot of walks. Jose Altuve was 2x5 with a solo homer and three runs scored. Our Boy Aaron Bray drew two walks and scored a run, Jonathan Meyer was 1x2 with a walk, RBI. Jake Goebbert was 0x2 with a walk, RBI. And Rene Garcia was 1x2 with a walk, RBI.

Greeneville made a little run in the 8th, but ultimately, Kingsport's 4-run 5th was too much, and Kingsport wins 7-4. Ricardo Batista threw 4.2IP, 7H/5ER, 3K:3BB. Phil Rorabaugh allowed 4H/2ER, 1K:1BB in 2.1IP, and Justin Harper allowed a walk and a hit (2K) in 1IP. Greeneville only got one XBH - a homer by Telvin Nash, who was 2x4 with 3RBI. Chris Wallace was 3x4 with an RBI.

Pedro Gomez had a brutal night, going 6H/6R (5ER), 2K:0BB in 1.2IP. Raul Rivera gave up a solo homer in 1IP. Jose Monzon was 2x4 with two runs scored, and Garen Wright, Kyle Redinger, and Ronald Sanchez added hits. Monzon and Jordan Scott stole a base each.

Astros get...yes...another minor-league catcher
So the Astros went and bought themselves another minor-league catcher, acquiring Edwin Bellorin from the Royals for cash considerations.
Bellorin is a 5'9" 225lb, 28-year old from Venezuela who has had a rough go of it since coming over to Kansas City from Colorado.
In ten minor-league seasons (in which he has never played more than 96 games), Bellorin has hit .264/.308/.359. In three seasons with Triple-A Colorado Springs from 2007-09, Bellorin posted OPS' of .898, .764, .660, respectively; In 38 games with Omaha, he has hit .162/.231/.185.
So obviously the Astros went and got him.
The Chronicle notes that he was acquired to fill Kevin Cash's spot. So was Lou Santangelo just not good enough as a back-up catcher on the Triple-A team that the Astros just had to spend money in this way?
