Olney: Valverde an "overlooked star"

Buster Olney's Insider-Only blog runs down the overlooked stars this season. Only one of the 11 he listed is in the AL East. And Jose Valverde makes an appearance:

There are going to be a lot of relievers available this winter through free agency and through trade, but Valverde still has set himself up for a pretty good deal, given his level of dominance (when he's been healthy). The Houston closer has struck out 53 and walked 17 in 48 innings, while holding opposing hitters to a .582 OPS. He hasn't allowed a run in his last 15 outings.
