Wednesday Morning Hot Links

It was not my fault the Astros are not doing well. I'm 1-2 in MLB games I have to write Hot Links for this season and 1-2 when I don't. You can't blame me for this. We'll keep this advanced metric updated as time goes on but this is not my idea. None of this is my doing. I would never do such a thing. You should not tell me I caused this because it is not true.

The Astros dropped a game to the Rangers last night 6-4 in Arlington. Notables:
Springer: 2-3, 1 R, 1 RBI
Bregman: 2-3, 1 R
Reddick: 3-3 1 R
Correa: Did this
Verlander: 4 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO

The Astros are not batting well with runners in scoring position.

Carlos Correa said that his incredible diving play is something even he was impressed about.

The Astros are still committed to being base-stealers this year.

LMJ has started his throwing program, a huge step in the recovery process.

The Cigar Smoking World Championships are going on right now. If you interested, you can probably find it on ESPN2 tonight or something.
