Friday Morning Hot Links

*The Astros got shook yesterday in a 13-1 loss to the Nationals. Brad Peacock allowed 3H/5ER, 2K:3BB (2HR) in 3IP. Cy Sneed allowed 5H/5ER in 1.1IP. George Springer was 3x3, Alex Bregman was 2x3, and Tyler White hit a 9th inning homer to break the shutout.

*Tony Sipp - like all of us - is looking for a big rebound season in 2017. Sipp:
Having a good season (in 2015) and being with the organization and they kind of reward you and you don't hold up your end of the bargain, it was disappointing for sure. I know I put a lot more stress on the rest of the bullpen.

Tony Sipp allowed a triple and two walks before getting pulled after 0.2IP yesterday.

*Check out The Batguy's 2017 projections.

*Ashur Tolliver is looking to take advantage of the Astros' lefty reliever issue.

*Watch Jon Kemmer's leaping catch from yesterday.

*Josh Reddick likes the Astros.

*Altuve is excited about playing for Venezuela in the WBC.

*Mike Lupica: Altuve is second to none.

*George Springer is ready to get smarter about baserunning.

*Collin McHugh is looking to get on a mound next week.

*Big blow to the Red Sox as David Price might need Tommy John surgery.
