Sunday Morning Hot Links

A day will come - soon - when we have #content other than the links posts. Promise.

*Jason Castro's insight proves valuable to other catchers (try this route if the link paywalls you).

*"I knew I had a gift," said Ken Giles, "and I decided to take advantage of it." - A fantastic profile of Ken Giles in the Chronicle.

*Luke Gregerson is keeping his family close.

*The Astros don't know if Gattis will be ready for Opening Day.

*Don't sleep on Michael Feliz as the 2016 version of Lance McCullers.

*Correa and Altuve will be part of the team that goes to Mexico City next week.

*Why didn't George Brett ever homer off Nolan Ryan? "Didn't want to. I saw what happened to Robin Ventura."

*Jonathan Mayo asked Daz Cameron five questions.

*Mayo: Despite trades in the last 11 months, the Astros still have plenty of depth in their system.

*David Cameron writes about the logical Rangers/Padres blockbuster trade.

*The Phillies think the change in scenery will benefit Mark Appel.

*Yeah, apparently several White Sox players complained about Drake LaRoche's presence in the clubhouse.

*The Bill DeWitt Era for the Cardinals is 20 years old and still going strong, and still facing significant penalties for their cheatin-ass ways.

*The Dodgers' Trayce Thompson is finding success outside the family business.

*As baseball heads back to Cuba, it's time to remember Minnie Minoso.

Used a Minnie Minoso model glove when I learned played shortstop from fifth through 8th grade. Had to trade out when high school rolled around. Wish I still had that raggedy old thing. Loved it! Loved Minoso!
