Friday Morning Hot Links

Danny Worth hit a 2-run homer and A.J. Reed hit a 3-run homer in a 5-3 win over the Braves. Carlos Correa and Preston Tucker each hit a two-run shot and Michael Feliz threw three scoreless innings in a 7-5 win over the Blue Jays. Feliz has allowed one earned run in 10 Spring innings.

*JJO writes that Tyler White's spring numbers are hard to ignore. He achieved cult status playing in the Dominican Winter League. Corpus manager Rodney Linares: "He's like a legend in the Dominican. They love him in San Pedro. He doesn't say much, but they love him down there."

It's worth pointing out - with just over two weeks before Opening Day - the race for 1B:
Jon Singleton (34 PAs): .152/.176/.394, 12K:1BB
Tyler White (31 PAs): .345/.387/.517, 6K:2BB
A.J. Reed (25 PAs): .292/.320/.695, 10K:1BB

*The Astros optioned the other catcher on the 40-man roster, Alfredo Gonzalez, to minor league camp yesterday. So here are your catcher possibilities:
1. Jason Castro
2. A.J. Hinch
3. Tyler Heineman
4. Roberto Pena
5. Jeff Luhnow

*Brian Smith takes on the ol' "not good enough to play for the Astros" joke

*Mike Trout and Bryce Harper have different views about baseball.
