Friday Morning Hot Links

The Rangers lost to the Mariners yesterday, giving the Astros a 2.5-game lead as they head into Anaheim tonight for a three-game series with the Angels. FanGraphs gives the Astros an 80.1% chance of winning the division and a 93.8% chance of making the postseason.

*The Astros are celebrating homers with gummy bears. Let's send a case of these gummy bears to the Rangers as a gesture of goodwill.

*"We're not as young as people want us to be" - A.J. Hinch.

*A.J. Hinch is shaking off the Bad Road Team label.

*It doesn't matter what we've done so far. We've got to continue to play well and continue to win games. If we don't put all three aspects together on the road like we usually do at home, we're not going to be playing for much longer.
-Dallas Keuchel

*The Rangers have moved Hamels' next start back to Monday so that two of his remaining starts can be against the Astros.

Since Hamels spurned the Astros to go play for the Rangers, he's pretty much officially the enemy, right? I can't think of anyone not named Pujols who I would like to see succeed less.

Who does it look like will pitch for Houston when they play the Arlington Rangers?
