Another 1-run road loss. The Astros lost 3-2 last night to the Angels on a rare rough inning by Dallas Keuchel made rough by a couple of fielding miscues. But the Rangers won, so the Astros have a 1.5 game lead. FanGraphs dropped the Astros division odds about 8% to 72.8% with an 89.7% chance of making the postseason. There are 21 games remaining in the regular season.

Keuchel talked about the botched play:
It's a routine play that I just botched. I mean, I can't really say anything else. Had a lot of top spin. It's not like I haven't made that play before. That was the difference in the game...Should have had a win today.

*Scott Feldman's season is over due to a shoulder sprain.

In seven starts after the All-Star Break up until the September 1 game where Feldman was injured, he was holding hitters to a .662 OPS with a 2.36 ERA.

*El Paso got a 6-run 5th inning in a 6-4 Fresno loss. Fresno leads the series 2-1.

*Midland was all over Corpus in a 9-5 win. Midland leads the series 2-1.

*High Desert ended Lancaster's season with 11 runs in the first two innings in a 12-5 win over the JetHawks.
