The must-read of the off-season

Jason Parks of Baseball Prospectus wrote up the Astros' Top 10 Prospects today. It is splendid - the perfect antidote for a season in which we watched the other team slap hands at the end of games 111 times.

The Top Ten:
1. Carlos Correa
2. George Springer
3. Mark Appel
4. Mike Foltynewicz
5. Jon Singleton
6. Vince Velasquez
7. Lance McCullers
8. Domingo Santana
9. Rio Ruiz
10. Michael Feliz

It's free, so absolutely go read it. I'm not going to pull anything from it because I don't want to ruin the fun of reading it for the first time. But the best part? The ETA on the top five prospects is 2014.

So seriously. Go read it. And then read it again. And maybe again.

Delino Deshields Jr is a good player and we will really enjoy him in the future. He moved to 2B and had a rough first year, then exploded his second year, then worked on details of hitting third year and dropped a little and then saw Altuve signed to a team friendly deal, and then was moved back to CF.

I could understand him being tired, and having been jerked around. That could be some of the attitude. But he has shown a lot of adjustment and growing skills and he is young.

Watch next year that they will post that he is the next big thing and rave about him.

    Reviews are always subjective.
