Your Starting Rotation & other news

The Astros will go with a rotation of:

SP1: Wandy
SP2: Lucas Harrell
SP3: Bud Norris
SP4: J.A. Happ
SP5: Kyle Weiland

Here's who they would face (if this is, indeed, the final order):

Friday: Wandy vs. Jeremy Guthrie
Saturday: Harrell vs. Jamie Moyer
Sunday: Norris vs. Juan Nicasio

Lyles has been sent to OKC, while Rule 5 picks Rhiner Cruz and Marwin Gonzalez have made the team (and if they get optioned off the team, go back to their respective former teams).

I don't think that is the rotation order just who made the rotation.

I could maybe see it like this:

SP1: Wandy
SP2: Bud Norris
SP3: Lucas Harrell
SP4: J.A. Happ
SP5: Kyle Weiland

But it probably will be:

SP1: Wandy
SP2: Bud Norris
SP3: J.A. Happ
SP4: Lucas Harrell
SP5: Kyle Weiland

If it is what the original post is that is very curious but fine by me, we are going to have a bunch of young guys pitching anyways.

it doesnt matter the order.. it is the original post due to the fact that it will give harrell 5 days off. pitchers have such a strict routine that if its off it can only be trouble

Norris got pushed back a day last week from where he was scheduled because of a triceps issue, hence him being in the SP3 slot. The order isn't really that big of a deal anyway, if Harrell struggles they can always skip him in the rotation when the opportunity arises.

Not having Wandy and Norris pitch back-to-back might help rest the bullpen a little bit.
