Where did Gaston come from? He was not an Astros draft pick was he?
Stay tuned, I'm at lunch and working on a little something...
Was Gaston the other kid from Arizona? I can't remember... I just remember watching Steele and another outfielder for them in the CWS after being drafted by the Astros and both were impressive.
Also... should you really be calling it a "Young'un" of the day if the player isn't young? I wouldn't exactly call Matt Kata young. Maybe a Minor Leaguer of the Day? Just a thought I was having... (I'm highly OCD btw)
Ryan,
Indeed - Gaston is from UA. And it's a valid point about the YotD moniker. I'll take a gander at it. It's also not as clever as I had hoped. Anybody have any thoughts as to what we can call it?
