Saturday Morning Hot Links

*Random 2017 Astros fact:

The 2017 Astros went 50-26 against the AL West, tied with Cleveland for the best record against their own division. The 2013 Astros went 25-51 against the AL West.

*David Schoenfield writes that the 2018 Astros (and Dodgers and Indians) could be better than the 2017 Astros (and Dodgers and Indians).

*Everything about this picture - shirt included - is incredible

*Don't forget that you can buy good Houston shirts from BreakingT here and, through Monday, it's 25% off and free shipping after $50.

*Former Astros Great J.B. Shuck signed a minor-league deal with an invite to Spring Training with the Marlins. Look for Shuck to step up in the event the Marlins trade Giancarlo Stanton.

Only real Astros fans remember when the Astros had J.A. Happ, J.B. Shuck, J.C. Chasez, and J.D. Martinez on the field at the same time.

*Since there is almost literally nothing going on with the Astros (THAT WE KNOW ABOUT), here's my Hall of Fame ballot which is totally legit and will absolutely have an impact on some poor soul.

-Barry Bonds
-Roger Clemens
-Vladimir Guerrero
-Trevor Hoffman
-Chipper Jones
-Edgar Martinez
-Mike Mussina
-Jim Thome
-Billy Wagner
-Larry Walker

I kept myself to the terrible 10-player limit, but could easily make a case for Curt Schilling (even though I think he's a reprehensible human being), Manny Ramirez, Jeff Kent, Scott Rolen.
