Saturday Morning Hot Links

*The Astros beat the Mets 7-6 on Friday. Joe Musgrove threw 3IP, 1H/0ER, 4K:1BB; Brady Rodgers and Cy Sneed each gave up 2ER. Colin Moran was 2x3 with a homer and 2RBI today; Reid Brignac was 2x3 with an RBI; Derek Fisher was 1x2 with a walk and 2RBI. And Tim Tebow will head to minor-league camp.

*Evan Gattis got his first start behind the plate today, setting him up for 2017. Hinch says Gattis will catch more than a traditional backup would.

*Could be a big year for Carlos Correa.

*Collin McHugh will throw live BP for the first time this Spring on Monday.

*Bench coach Alex Cora - also the GM for Puerto Rico - is excited for the WBC.

*In a job that I'm *totally* (un)qualified for, the Astros have hired Jesse Michel as their mental skills coordinator. Michel previously worked for the freaking Army. Predictably the Astros did not make him available for an interview.

*Beyond the Box Score says the Astros should trade a reliever.

*UH's efforts to trademark "Houston" might draw the Astros into a legal battle.

*I wrote about the three players on the 1981 Topps Astros Future Stars baseball card.

*This boxing article from, like, December, is powerful and also hard to read.
