Sunday Morning Hot Links

Astros County turns eight years old today. A growing boy, this blog is.

*The Astros added lefty pitcher Reymin Guduan to the 40-Man roster yesterday, rather than lose him to minor-league free agency.

Guduan struck out 63 batters in 56IP between Corpus and Fresno in 2015 and has 308 strikeouts in 253.1IP in his career, which began with the Astros in 2009.

*David Paulino pitched well in last night's AFL Fall Stars Game (Francis Martes got knocked around).

*Check out this profile of minor-league catcher Garrett Stubbs.

*Former Astros outfielder Dexter Fowler is now a free agent. So is Yoenis Cespedes.

*Pat Neshek is the Phillies' highest-paid player.

*Hold up on the Yankees trading Brian McCann, says Brian Cashman.

*The Blue Jays will extend Qualifying Offers to both Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista.
