*Luhnow hasn't ruled out signing Keuchel to a long-term extension.

What are everyones thoughts on Cespedes? Does he cost a draft pick?

No draft pick compensation, since he was traded in the middle of last season. My thoughts on him as a player: always love a guy who can hit good pitching, but also a lot of red flags....defense, some nagging injuries, some rumblings about not being the best clubhouse presence....unless someone in the organization feels the risks are overblown AND they can strike a very reasonable deal - seems unlikely the current FO would go for this.

Cespedes is a waste of time for the Astros, unless we want to trade Gomez and put Cespedes in CF. I like Gomez better in CF and has more speed. You lose a little pop, but that's not a deficiency on the Astros.
