Wednesday Morning Hot Links

Not a whole lot going on at AstroWorld (figuratively, because I'm referring to the Front Office *and* literally because AstroWorld doesn't exist anymore) so we'll keep this brief.

*Theo Epstein called Daniel Murphy's performance in the playoffs "Beltranesque," referring to when Carlos Beltran hit .435/.536/1.022 for the Astros in the 2004 postseason with 8K:9BB, 8HR and six stolen bases.

*Palm Beach County commissioners approved the budget for the new Astros/Nationals Spring Training complex. Construction will begin "in the next two weeks" with the target date of Spring Training 2017 for completion.

*The six-year old boy hit in the cheek by Salvador Perez's foul ball in Game 4 has a piece of advice for Salvador Perez: "I want to say try not hitting a boy because it would be a nice feeling."
