Monday Morning Link Dump

You can read Masked Marvel's recap here, but the Astros will carry a three-game win streak into San Diego tonight, leading the division by 2.5 games. The last time the Astros led their division by such a margin was May 12, 2004. Let that sink in...

*Tonight and tomorrow night's games will start at 9:10pm Central, the last 9pm starts until June 19 at Seattle. May 7-9 will feature late starts at Anaheim. I'm a dummy.

*A's catcher Stephen Vogt, on Evan Gattis' eye-high 2-run double that put the Astros ahead in the 9th:
I still want to know how Evan Gattis hit that pitch. He needs to teach me how to do that...You can elevate there and if he's going to chase, the worst thing in the world there is a medium flyball, not he tommyhawks (sic) a double off the center-field wall.

*A.J. Hinch is looking forward to returning to Petco Park.

*Within that link, there's an impressive typo regarding Jake Marisnick's power:
Many questioned whether Marisnick would be productive enough to maintain a starting spot. But he's good for a couple homers a month: he hit 104 last year between Class AAA and the majors, and 13 the year before.

Man, 104 homers in a season? The Marlins are dummmmmmbbbbbbbbbb. (Note: Marisnick hit 13 homers between Triple-A and the majors last season, and 13 in 2013, as well.)
