Preston Tucker promoted to OKC

OF Preston Tucker was promoted from Corpus to OKC last night, according to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times' Jose Rodriguez:


Tucker, who will be 24 next month, is hitting .276/.348/.536 at Corpus with 17 doubles and 17 homers. In his last ten games he's hitting .250/.333/.575, and that includes the game at Minute Maid Park where he hit two solo homers and drew a walk.

His .536 SLG is 3rd in the Texas League while his .885 OPS is 4th. His 17 homers lead the league while his 17 doubles are 3rd, two behind teammate Nolan Fontana.

There is no word on a corresponding move.

This is great, happy for Tucker. But why the hell is Correa still languishing in A ball?!?!?!
