Midland starting pitcher Chris Jensen flat-out dominated the Hooks, who lost 3-1 on five hits. Luis Cruz allowed 4H/1ER, 3K:0BB in 6IP (51 of 77 pitches going for strikes). Newly promoted Ruben Alaniz allowed 3H/2ER, 2K:3BB in 3IP.
Leo Heras had two of the Hooks' five hits; Nolan Fontana was 1x3 with a double and an RBI; Matt Duffy and Joe Sclafani had your other singles.

Juan Minaya struck out two in 1.2IP, Mitchell Lambson gave up a hit in 1IP; Mike Hauschild threw 4IP, 1H/0ER, 3K:1BB; Tyson Perez gave up 1H/1ER, 3K:2BB in 2.1IP and J.D. Osborne allowed the hit (and a walk) that provided the walkoff.
