PreStros Morning Report: August 8

Oklahoma City (68-51), 4.0 up

The win streak was broken as OKC lost 12-3 to Las Vegas. Asher Wojciechowski went 4.2 IP and gave up 7H/6R with 6K:5BB. Rhiner Cruz walked all three batters he faced. Eric Berger threw 2.1 IP and allowed 1H/1R with 3K:2BB. Jason Stoffel took the final 1 IP and gave up 5H/5R with 1 BB.

Poor pitching led to the Hooks 12-5 loss to the Naturals. Nick Tropeano went 5 IP and gave up 8H/5R with 6K:3BB. Alex Sogard threw 1 IP and gave up 3H/2R. Cameron Lamb went 1 IP with 3 H. Theron Geith threw 1 IP and allowed 5H/5R (3 ER) with 1 K. Pat Urckfitz finished up with an uneventful 1 IP.

In an exciting finish, the Astros tied it in the ninth and won in the tenth as they beat Bristol 10-8. Enderson Frano threw 5.2 IP and gave up 9H/4R (3 ER) with 5 K. Ryan Connely got one out.
