Quad Cities (9-3), 2.0 GB

After falling behind 6-1, the River Bandits came back to steal the game from Clinton on a strange one-out Jordan Scott walk-off center field. What would have been a sac fly turned into an attempt by Clinton's CF to drop the ball in order to get force outs in the ensuing celebration confusion. Apparently, Brett Phillips never touched third, so, on appeal, he was forced out for the second out of the inning. Thankfully, everyone else was deemed to have sufficiently advanced, allowing the winning run to stand.

Lance McCullers was rocked in 3.2 IP, giving up 9H/6R with 4K:3BB. Juri Perez threw 3.1 innings with 2 H and 2K:1BB. John Neely was the pitcher of record, going 2 scoreless innings with 2H and 2K:1BB.

Jordan Scott was 2x5 with 1 2B, 1 BB, and 1 K. Jesse Wierzbicki was 1x3 with 1 BB, 1 HR, 2 R, and 2 RBI. Rio Ruiz was 2x4 with 1 2B and 2 R. Roberto Pena was 1x4 with 1 2B, 2 RBI, and threw out all three attempted steals against him.
