Keith Law's Top 50 mid-season prospect list

Keith Law offered up his mid-season Top 50 list (Insider-only) today. Notably, Mark Appel is included. Since it's behind a paywall, we're not going to pull any write-ups from it, but here are the Astros' rankings:

#7: Carlos Correa
#9: Mark Appel
#29: George Springer
#33: Jon Singleton
#46: Mike Foltynewicz

G. Springer is getting Zero respect. I understand the strikeouts are a detractor, but c'mon man. He's been one of the best hitters in ALL of Milb. Give him some love will ya..

I don't see how we are not a top 3 system. Every list I've seen has us with more prospects on it. We may not be the Twins with the 2 high impact players, but we are the deepest system in the biz now.

I think being ranked 29th of all prospects equates to more than zero respect, and is firmly within the realm of some love.

I haven't seen an updated prospects list that doesn't have him in the top 30. In terms of outfielders, he's probably top 5 in most lists. That's true love if you ask me!

Tis better to have loved once than never loved at all... as they say.
