The Astros would get a tax break to move their Spring Training facility

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the state of Florida is finalizing a budget that would provide a $3.3m tax rebate for MLB teams to keep their Spring Training facilities in Florida - and the Astros would get an extra $10m to move from Kissimmee to south Florida.

State Rep. Ritch Workman:
“You can’t make your stars drive so far. They needed to move, and unfortunately, we’re not the only state that offers these things.”
