PreStros: July 20


Oklahoma City (58-41) 

OKC couldn’t touch top pitching prospect Shelby Miller as they lost to Memphis (STL) 8-1.

Brett Oberholtzer went 6 innings and gave up 6 R on 7 H with 7 K. Jonnathan Aristil threw the last 2 innings and allowed 2 R (1 earned) on 1 H with 2 K.

2B-Jimmy Paredes was 2x4 with 1 R.

Corpus Christi (53-40) 

The Hooks used a grand slam by Andy Simunic to beat Frisco (TEX) 7-5.

Rob Rasmussen threw 6 innings, allowing 3 R on 5 H and 1 BB with 6 K. Josh Zeid pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 R on 4 H with 2 K. Jason Stoffel threw 1 scoreless inning with 1 H.

Lexington won a rain-shortened game against Greenville (BOS) 7-4 in seven innings.

The G-Stros were swept in last night’s double header, losing the first game 2-0 and the second 2-1.
