R in .1 innings on 3 H with 1 K. Jose Valdez shut the door on the Padres with 1
perfect inning with 1 K.
RF-Fernando Martinez was 2x4 with 1 R and 1 RBI. 1B-Mike Hessman
went 2x4 with 1 HR and 2 R. 2B-Jimmy Paredes was 2x4 with 2 RBI. C-Landon

Jake Buchanan got an impressive 16 groundouts in 7.2 innings while

he faced. Josh Zeid, Kevin Chapman, and Jason Stoffel all pitched one scoreless
inning. Alex Sogard took the loss with 1 R allowed in 1 inning on 2 H and 1 BB
