Brett Myers is apparently the best available pitcher

According to Troy Renck, the Rockies don't plan to be sellers at the deadline. But they also don't quite expect to be buyers:

The pitching market is limited, with Houston's Brett Myers arguably the best available. His price tag makes him unappealing to the Rockies. Though finding a starter is a priority, general manager Dan O'Dowd said last week after acquiring infielder Mark Ellis that he would continue looking for another bat.

This is just dumb. Brett Myers in Coors Field? Yeah, that'll end well.

So you're saying Ed should quickly do it?
