Brian Moehler cares not for your "video" analysis

Interesting note on Moehler's preparation for an upcoming start:

Good or bad, you move on, and you get ready for your next start the next day,” said Moehler, who was 2-1 with a 9.39 ERA in four 2008 starts against Pittsburgh. Moehler doesn’t study video of himself to gauge his mechanics, choosing instead to use video time to watch the players he will face.

“I think too many guys — I’m not saying our guys — look at video for the good and not the bad in situations,” he said. “I’d rather look at opposing hitters and see what their tendencies are.”

I'd rather Moehler take advantage of all legal, ethical, and for crying out loud available technology to succeed.
