*Of course there are layers to that whole Dallas Keuchel-In-A-Walking-Boot story. First Jerry Crasnick reported yesterday morning that Keuchel pitched the final two months of the season with plantar fasciitis. Then Luhnow told McTaggart that it was a mild foot sprain, not plantar fasciitis. Luhnow:
All I know it was a minor left foot sprain, diagnosed during his exit physical. I do know he had some discomfort, as a lot of our guys did, which is normal for a team in October.
*I'm giving away a few copies of the new World Series documentary. Here are the details to enter. And here is David Barron's review of the film.
*You need to watch this video, created by Max Mejia and narrated by Kevin Eschenfelder:

*Alex Bregman joins Roger Clemens on the squad for a December 16 charity soccer game to benefit Hurricane Harvey relief.
*The Rangers gave Mike Minor a 3yr/$28m deal.

2017 World Series Documentary giveaway
Foundry Communications - a communications company in New Jersey - has given me five copies of the new 2017 World Series documentary, and one Collector's Edition set on DVD or Blu-Ray to give away, I just don't know how to do it.
Here's what's available:
5 copies of the 2017 World Series Film: Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (DVD or Blu-Ray)
1 copy of the 2017 World Series Film: Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Collectors Edition (DVD or Blu-Ray)
Art!

Here is what I was thinking:
Option 1: Hook my buddies up.
Option 2: I still owe The Batguy, Aaron, Street and a couple of other people an Astros County shirt. But I can't find the box that they're in. So I could just give the copies to them and hope it atones.
Option 3: You can troll Rangers fans.
I like Option 3. So here's how this works:
Step 1: The first six people to email me a video or audio file of you absolutely destroying a Rangers (or Yankees, Red Sox, or Dodgers) fan about the 2017 World Series Champion Houston Astros will be eligible to receive one of the aforementioned copies.
Step 2: If I can figure out how to do it, I'll post them on this God-forsaken web site and set up a poll. The most hilarious, devastating one will receive the Collector's Edition.
Step 3: If there is swearing in your audio/video, you will not be eligible for one of the copies. That said, if the subject of the trolljob swears out of anger/disgust, I'll allow it, because that's hilarious.
That'll do it. Email your submissions to astroscounty at gmail dot com to be eligible.
UPDATE: The anonymous commenter makes a good point. It is no longer the first six submissions. Let's set a deadline of 12pm Sunday, December 10, 2017.
