Ronny Torreyes traded to Toronto

22-year old infielder Ronny Torreyes has been traded to Toronto for a PTBNL or cash. Torreyes was designated for assignment last week.

Torreyes was acquired from the Cubs back in July 2013 when the Astros traded two of their international bonus pool allotments for him.

In 2014, Torreyes hit .298/.345/.376 for Oklahoma City. In 19 games for Triple-A Fresno this season, he was hitting .200/.211/.214.
