27-796: Brandon McNitt

In the 27th round of the draft, the Astros select Brandon McNitt, a RHP (starter) from Stony Brook University in New York.  He is listed at 5'10", and is 170 pounds.  He is 22.

He has a twitter account (BMcNitt20), and some scouting video.

He had a good season for Stony Brook, going 8-1 in 71.2IP.  He gave up 66 hits and 22 walks, but struck out a batter an inning.  2.89 ERA.
