So the Astros have placed Anthony Bass on the DL with a right intercostal strain and recalled Josh Fields from OKC.
Let's take a look at the bullpen on Opening Day, shall we:
Matt Albers
Anthony Bass
Kevin Chapman
Josh Fields
Brad Peacock
Chad Qualls
Jerome Williams
Albers is on the DL. Bass is now on the DL. Chapman has been sent down. Fields is now back after having as bad a two-week spell as a reliever can have. Peacock is in the rotation now because Harrell was DFA'ed. Qualls and Williams are the two stalwarts of the bullpen after 40 games. Impressive, huh?
