ST5: Astros @ Mets

The Astros fell to the Mets 6-2 today in a game that saw rotation long-shot Rudy Owens fail to get out of the first inning.

Owens allowed 3H/3ER, 0K:3BB in 0.1IP, while Jorge de Leon allowed a solo homer to Curtis Granderson (who also tagged Owens with a homer) in 1.2IP. Josh Fields gave up 2H/0ER in 1IP; Luis Cruz threw two perfect innings, while Paul Clemens allowed 1H/1ER, 0K:1BB in 1IP; Bobby Doran allowed a hit and a walk in 1IP, and Astros County Man Crush recipient Nick Tropeano gave up three hits and an unearned run in the final frame.

Dexter Fowler was 0x3; Chris Carter (2B), Jose Altuve and Jesus Guzman (2B) were each 1x3. Jonathan Villar hit a two-run homer to account for All The Scoring for Houston.
