Astros sign Cesar Izturis

Well well.

Soon-to-be 34 year old infielder Cesar Izturis posted a career season in 2004 as a 24-year old shortstop for the Dodgers, hitting .288/.330/.331 in a Gold Glove season. Since then, he has not poisted an OPS over .630. In 2010, he played in 150 games with a .545 OPS, and has played in a total of 143 games from 2011-13. Izturis got into 63 games (142 PAs) in 2013 for Cincinnati, "hitting" .209/.259/.271.

Enjoy Oklahoma City, Cesar!
