Astros Acquire Anthony Bass and a PTBNL for a PTBNL

The Astros pulled off a mini trade today, getting Anthony Bass and a PTBNL for a PTBNL. Bass was used primarily as a starter in 2012 and in the minors, but was exclusively a reliever for the Padres in 2013. His numbers are not exactly exciting. He had a 5.36 ERA with a 4.24 FIP. But, he is young, has a good fastball, and we got for essentially nothing, right? Anthony Bass + PTNBL - PTNBL = Anthony Bass. I think I have that math right.

I am guessing we are trading spots in the Rule 5 draft, hence the PTBNL swap.
