DeShields makes Cal League prospect list

Baseball America released their Top 20 California League prospects yesterday. Once again, it's a pay site, so we'll only pull parts of words from it and let you try to figure it out.

#4: Delino DeShields, Jr.
Pitchers could bust him inside early in the season, but he got better at pulling those balls as the year progressed.

And that's it for Astros on the list.

Didn't Ensberg say that 10 or so of the Jethawks would be major leaguers? The league must really be stacked.

What outfield position is DeShields going to play with Springer in CF, or does Springer shift to left or right?

Lyle, I suspect DDJ will move to left field whether sooner or later. He may get some time in center field for now just to see how he handles the position, but since Springer is an above average defensive player in center, I don't think DDJ is destined for the spot long term unless he gets traded to another organization (or Springer does for some insane reason).

Left field is probably the best fit for him because he lacks the arm strength for right field.

Thanks OremLK!
