In addition to the retirement of Tanner Bushue reported last month, D'Andre Toney has also been listed in the transactions as retiring.

Toney was the PTBNL in the Humberto Quintero/Jason Bourgeois-to-Kansas City trade that brought back Kevin Chapman in 2012. Toney's rookie year went exceptionally well, hitting .340/.432/.587 for Kansas City's rookie-ball affiliate in Arizona. He never really found it at the plate again. In 59 games for Greeneville in 2012 - his debut year with the Astros - Toney hit .252/.351/.326, and for Tri-City in 2013 hit .219/.290/.352.
Toney was suspended 50 games back in August (along with Jose Fernandez and Mike Martinez) for testing positive for an amphetamine.
