Kissimmee preparing for life without the Astros

This Orlando Sentinel article explains how the city of Kissimmee and Osceola County are preparing "an ambitious plan" to lure MLB teams to the city in the case of the Astros departing, as is "widely expected."

Osceola County would be eligible for $20m in state funding to build a one-team complex, and $50m for a two-team complex - contingent on the team(s) signing a 37-year lease. The total cost of the complex is $85-95m for one team and $140m for two teams.

The Astros had an estimated $65.6m in economic impact on the area this Spring.
