Jimmy Paredes back to OKC, Maxwell up

Struggling Human Bowling Ball Jimmy Paredes is going to have to run into infielders at Oklahoma City, as he has been optioned north to make room for equally-struggling though now-rehabilitated Justin Maxwell, who presumably does not run into infielders.

Paredes - in 31 games (92PAs) "hit" .190/.242/.274 for a .516 OPS which is amazingly consistent with his 24 game (82PAs) stint in Houston in 2012, in which he hit .189/.244/.230.

Maxwell, in 11 rehab games between Corpus and OKC, hit .128/.182/.205 with 11K:3BB in 44 PAs. Small sample size blah blah blah.
