Pinellas County REALLY wants to keep the Blue Jays

Back on April 1 Ballpark Digest broke the news that about the whole "Astros buy the New Orleans Triple-A franchise and move them to the Woodlands" story and also mentioned that the Astros and Blue Jays were looking at sharing Spring Training facilities in Palm Beach Gardens once their respective agreements expire. Today they have an update.

Pinellas County (Tampa Bay area) is now working awfully hard to keep the Blue Jays there, making a range of offers from expanding the stadium to a new complex altogether to expanding the complex to provide for two teams to share.

On the one hand, this may be too little, too late; insiders tell us a move of the Blue Jays to Palm Beach Gardens is a done deal.
