Chase Davidson on Temporarily Inactive List

Daniel Makarewicz - a reporter from Quad Cities - tweeted today that QC's Chase Davidson has been placed on the Temporarily Inactive List, and J.J. Jankowski has been brought up from Extended Spring Training.

Davidson is remarkable as he was drafted in the 3rd Round of the 2008 draft, but ultimately didn't sign (Drayton's Hard Slot - an adult film). He went on to the University of Georgia, struggled, and fell to the Astros in the 41st Round of the 2011 draft. As a senior, he didn't have much choice. He's hitting .263/.330/.368 in four games for Quad Cities.

Jankowski is another re-draft for the Astros. He was drafted in the 34th Round of the same 2008 draft, didn't sign, and was drafted in the 34th Round of the 2012 draft. For Greeneville (a league he was a touch old for), he struck out 53 batters in 32.1IP in 2012.
