If you haven't yet, go back and read this post from Saturday evening.
I still stand behind what I wrote, but I want to provide an update.
Kathleen and I were able to talk for a little over half an hour this evening. While I'm not able to pass along many of the details, the bottom line is that the Astros organization has heard the fans and is taking what I feel are appreciable steps towards addressing the most glaring concerns. Change is difficult and mistakes have been made, but hopefully things will get back on track soon.
Also, be prepared for a couple more interesting reveals from the club on a couple of topics very soon.

The Astros blogosphere rarely agrees on anything quite as unanimously as they have on the front office debacles of late. I really do hope that they have learned something from it, but I will remain skeptical until I see them really reach out and make nice with the average fan, not just season ticket holders and corporate sponsors.
I would think this blog would be above "I know something you don't know" posts. Weak.
This wasn't meant to be that type of post. Given the response the first one received I felt it necessary to provide as much of an update as possible. In no way do I consider myself to be any sort of "insider".
That said, throwing out an insult while hiding behind "Anonymous" is pretty weak, too.
Ah, now I feel better! Why didn't we think of asking a corporate PR rep sooner?
That's why we get paid the big bucks, Ted.
This article isn't nearly as weak as posting criticism anonymously. Snap!
In my defense, my anonymous 'insult' was more of a backhanded compliment. And was only anonymous because I'm lazy.
I post from Anon also because it takes too long to log in from my phone, but I agree that the "I know something" quote rubbed me the wrong way also, LoL. You just have to realize how us readers are going to take it. But that's just my .02 cents. Keep up the good work

Bryan,
I thought the first post was GREAT! And I don't get why people are put off by anything you said after talking to the P.R. lady. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate the update, and I'm glad to hear the Astros' marketing Dept is reaching out to fan outlets a little bit. I just hope to god you didn't convince them to re-hire DoRay.
