Further notes on the Rockies' series

I hated the Rockies to begin with. This didn't help:

*Collectively, the Rockies hit .368/.422/.664 over the four-game series.
*The Rockies reached base 72 times (56 hits, 14 walks, 2 HBPs).
*They were a perfect 9-for-9 in stealing bases. Seven of those came in the last two games.
*Furthermore, five of those seven stolen bases came when the Rockies were up 5-1, 5-0, 8-1, 9-4, and 11-5. Do with that information what you will.

*The Astros had double-digit hits in four straight games for the 2nd time this season, but at least had the decency to go 2-2 the first time around.
*They hit five homers, yet drew only four walks, in four games.
*Houston stole just one base during the series, and did not attempt a steal in the last three games, where they had 46 men reach base.
*Last night was the first time since April 19 that they didn't draw a walk.
*Astros Team ERA in series: 9.18. WHIP: 2.10.
*Team ERA went from 3.47 to 3.89 in four games.
*Astros pitchers allowed more earned runs on May 30-31 than they had in the previous seven games combined.

So, piss off Rockies. I hope you get lapped by the Dodgers.
