Early Sunday afternoon update

Carlos Lee has been placed on the 15-Day DL with a hamstring sprain, and thus Brett Wallace has been recalled from OKC. This is the second time that Lee has been placed on the DL, with the first time coming in 2008 - after Bronson Arroyo hit him on the finger with a pitch on August 9, 2008.

In 50 games for OKC, Brett Wallace was hitting .265/.327/.476, with 49K:12BB in 202 PAs. In his last ten games, Wallace has hit .267/.450/.633, with 11K:8BB, and has hit 3HR in his last four games.

Also, Brad Mills says the current plan is for Jordan Lyles to stay in the rotation...for good. Perhaps this was a way of getting Lyles to settle down in advance of today's start against the Reds.
