Oklahoma City (26-19)

*Notes: Brett Wallace has a six game hitting streak. He’s hit three home runs in his last four games, all to center field. Jordan Lyles is tied for most batters hit this season (6) in the Pacific Coast League.

Corpus Christi (20-25) 

Jake Buchanan pitched a gem for eight innings and came two outs away from a complete game as he led the Hooks to a 9-5 victory over Arkansas (LAA).

Buchanan went 8.1 innings and was charged with 5 R (3 earned) on 8 H and 1 BB with 4 K. Josh Zeid was wild in relief, but got the final two outs on strikeouts, along with 1 BB and 2 WP.

LF-Austin Wates was 2x4 with 1 2B and 2 R. SS-Jonathan Villar was 1x4 with 1 HR, 2 R, and 2 RBI. 1B-Jon Singleton was 2x4 with 1 2B, 2 R, and 1 RBI. CF-Brandon Barnes went 3x4 with 1 HR and 3 RBI. 3B-Andrew Simunic was 2x4. C-Jair Fernandez was 2x4 with 1 RBI.

*Notes: The Hooks are second in the Texas League in runs scored (224) despite being next to last in home runs (31). Jonathan Villar is tied for the league lead in stolen bases (18).

*Notes: George Springer currently has a 13 game hitting streak. Tyson Perez was named California League pitcher of the week after his complete game two-hitter last Thursday.

Lexington (24-21) 

Luis Ordosgiotti led the Legends pitching staff in shutting out the Power (PIT) 4-0.

Ordosgiotti went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 H and 3 BB with 4 K. Murilo Gouvea threw .2 innings with 1 BB. Dayan Diaz threw the final inning with 2 BB and 2 K.

3B-Matt Duffy was 2x4 with 1 2B, 1 R, and 2 RBI. CF-Jordan Scott was 1x4 with 1 3B, 1 R, and 1 outfield assist. C-Mike Kvasnicka went 2x4 with 1 R.
