So Mark Melancon has been sort of a train wreck, huh?

The working title for this post was, "All Hail the All-Seeing Luhnow," but that seemed a bit much. Still, Mark Melancon has been pretty awful for the Red Sox after his off-season trade. It's too early to compare numbers to 2011, but let's look at some key Melancon stats from 2012:

*17 batters faced, six outs
*10H/11ER
*8 flyballs to 3 groundballs
*5 Homers allowed (after allowing five in all of 2011, 74.1IP).

Bobby Valentine mentioned that Melancon might see what Pawtucket had to offer in the short-term future.
