Bats/Throws:   R/R
Height/Weight: 6’0”/170lbs
Acquired:     Drafted by Houston Astros , 2008 (17th round)

Simunic hit .263/.354/.368 last season between Lancaster, Corpus, and a three game stint in OKC. For his career he’s hitting .271/.366/.344. He has a very high percentage of successful steal attempts, but hasn’t run much since being promoted from Lexington in 2010. Andrew has the ability to hit a few doubles, but has little power. He shows good patience at the plate. He's played a little outfield; he's actually appeared at every position except catcher, but is best at second base where he’s spent the most time. In 2012 he’s hitting .200/.333/.200 through 18 plate appearances with two walks and 1 strikeout while playing third base exclusively.
