About that Hector Corpas arrest thing...

We had a comment in the post on Corpas' signing that said he had been arrested last fall. Yeah, that's true.

Corpas was arrested at 6:31am in Davenport, Iowa and charged with three misdemeanors: assault with injury, false imprisonment, and obstruction of emergency communications.

Yes, but what happened after that? Was he tried, was he released, were the charges dropped? Please report the entire process not just the negative. This is an incomplete blog that might lead to the wrong conclusion.

That's fair. According to the linked article, Corpas was released on bond. And then not even Google knows what happened after that. But if you know the right conclusion, feel free to chime in.

I do not, but would think in fairness the blog would add something to the effect that .... "No record of the outcome of the charges could be located". This would at least give the young man the benefit of doubt. Where there is smoke there is fire concept is not always a correct premise, as we know in dealing with local police officers and athletes. He may be guilty of these charges, and may not be. That's all I wanted to address. Thanks.
